An excellent way to support Sacred
Heart education as well as to enjoy personal financial
advantages is through a planned giving vehicle,
including a bequest or a life income gift, such
as a charitable remainder unitrust or annuity
trust. We invite you to this special society,
which honors all the members of the Sacred Heart
community who have made deferred or planned gifts,
such as a bequest, to Convent of the Sacred Heart,
regardless of amount.
Bequests are gifts made through one’s will.
Donors may bequeath cash or property, or may direct
that the School receive the remainder of the estate
after other bequests and expenses have been paid.
To make a bequest to Sacred Heart, may we suggest
the following wording:
“I hereby bequeath to the Trustees of Convent
of the Sacred Heart, Inc., a tax-exempt non-profit
School located in Greenwich, Connecticut, the
sum of $_________ (or, _____% of my estate) for
its general corporate purpose.”
