Welcome Alumnae! Thank you for taking the time to visit our page on the CSH Greenwich website.
This year’s theme is “Insight and Innovation” which is the combination of Goals One and Two. In her message to the school community at the start of this school year, Head of School Pamela Juan Hayes ’64 stated “we want our students to be successful global citizens, innovators, problem-solvers, collaborators, effective oral and written communicators, analyzers, and full of curiosity and imagination. Throughout all their progress it is the ‘insight’ into themselves and their faith that will make them the ‘game changers’ and force for good in this world.”
In addition to the students and faculty embracing this theme, throughout the year our alumnae community has the opportunity to experience “insight and innovation” at each of our alumnae events and programs. The kick-off to the 2012-2013 alumnae year was our Reunion held in late September. It was wonderful seeing almost 200 alumnae that weekend. All who participated relished in the opportunity to celebrate old acquaintances and to make new ones.
On Saturday, November 17, 2012, we welcomed more than 100 CSH alumnae, associate alumnae, honorary alumnae, future alumnae, family, and friends to our chapel to worship together at our second Alumnae Family Liturgy. In the wake of the recent weather-related events on the East Coast, we came together to give thanks for what we have and to pray for those who were severely affected by the storm. We took up a collection of canned food to assist those who are in need.
Once again, I want to thank you for visiting the alumnae website. I hope you return often and take the opportunity to connect with classmates and the CSH community. I’d also like to encourage you to make a visit to our “home” at 1177 King Street and to participate in one of our many events throughout the year: Networking Reception (February 27, 2013), Alumnae Très Bien Reception (March 27, 2013), Generations Tea (April 18, 2013), and the New York City Alumnae Reception (April 23, 2013).
I look forward to the continuation of a very exciting year for alumnae. Thank you for your support of our School and the Greenwich-Maplehurst Alumnae Association.
Regards,
Patreece Williams Creegan ’84 President, Greenwich- Maplehurst Alumnae Association |
