Warm, Sunny Morning Praying Together as a Sacred Heart Family
4/16/2012
Lower school families were all smiles on Sunday, April 15 at the Family Liturgy. Celebrated by Fr. Frank Corry and organized by Mrs. Marian Campana, lower school families came together to worship in song, word and sacrament.
Dr. Ann Marr welcomed everyone with these beautiful words, “As you know, today’s liturgy is our opportunity, as a Lower School, to come together in prayer and faith, to resolve to live our lives as one with Jesus – in caring for and respect of our community, our families, and our world. We ask God to grace us with his love and compassion, to share with us his hope and peace. We pray today for ourselves and for other students, faculty, and parents in schools of the Sacred Heart all over the world.”
The second Sunday of Easter was a great time for members of the Sacred Heart, Greenwich family to come together to build community while deepening personal relationships with God. Families enjoyed a light lunch and a visit to the book fair to round out their day.
