The Department of Athletics will hold two preseason clinics for grades 5-8. This is a great way to get ready for the fall season, have an opportunity to train with our varsity and JV coaches, and practice your sport with fellow Sacred Heart students!
Clinics will be held on Tuesday, August 27th from 11-12:30pm and Thursday, August 29th: 1:30-3:00pm.
Please feel free to attend one or both. This is not required to try-out for MS athletics in September.
As I reflect on my first year at Sacred Heart, I have been honored to work on behalf of our student-athletes and to be a part of such a special community. Sacred Heart athletics is more than just wins and losses and that is due to the hard work of our students and coaches and support from the parents, faculty, and community. Thank you to everyone for making 2018-2019 a year to remember!
Before we move on to planning for the next season, I wanted to share with you highlights from our spring teams and individual student-athletes. It would be impossible to mention all the high points, achievements, and development of our student-athletes, but we hope to give you a glimpse of what was accomplished during the season. As always, full results from each team can be found on our athletics website, and photos and updates from throughout the season can be found on our SmugMug page and social media accounts (@gocshgreenwich on Instagram and Twitter).

Maryanne Grace not only earned a spot in the Greenwich Academy golf team’s lineup as an eighth-grader, she absolutely excelled this spring.
Monday, Grace’s first season as a member of the Gators concluded and she couldn’t have scripted a better ending.
Shooting an even-par 35 over nine holes at The Round Hill Club’s challenging course, Grace won the Caroline Dym ‘18 FAA Memorial Tournament.
“It feels great, I’m so excited and it’s a great way to end the season with an awesome team,” Grace said.
Sacred Heart Greenwich sophomore MaryGrace Farrell finished second, carding a 1-over-par 36, while Greenwich Academy junior Katie Dzialga, GA senior Emmy Sammons and Sammie Bobman of Rye Country Day School tied for third at 5-over 40.

Playing its third game in as many days and its fourth matchup of the week, the Sacred Heart Greenwich lacrosse team certainly didn’t resemble a squad that was finishing off an ultra-busy stretch in its schedule Friday against Greens Farms Academy.
Up and down the field the Tigers went, as they relentlessly registered shots on goal, created scoring opportunities and imposed their will on another league opponent.
Junior midfielder Morgan Smith recorded five goals and four assists, while sophomore attack Lily DeConcini tallied five times to spark Sacred Heart in its 18-7 victory over visiting Greens Farms Academy in an FAA game.
The win clinched the FAA regular season championship for the Tigers, who are 13-1 overall and completed league play with a 7-0 mark. Next on Sacred Heart’s agenda is winning its third straight FAA Tournament title.
