Why did you choose to play tennis at Bucknell?
I wanted to play tennis in college because I have played my entire life and was not ready to give it up. When Bucknell offered me the opportunity to be part of its program, I never even gave it a second thought.

How did playing sports at Sacred Heart prepare you for playing at Bucknell?
Playing tennis for Sacred Heart prepared me physically and mentally for playing at Bucknell. Not only did I improve by practicing so much and gaining valuable match experience at Sacred Heart, I also learned what it was like to be part of a team.

How is playing tennis at Bucknell different from playing at Sacred Heart?
Playing for Bucknell is a lot different than playing at Sacred Heart for several reasons. Being part of Bucknell's team is a much bigger commitment and involves a lot more training both on and off the court. The competition is much more intense because we play at the Division I level so everyone is much more serious. Also, in high school I was only really required to work on my singles game because that is what I played in matches; in college everyone plays both singles and doubles so I have had to develop my doubles game.

How does being on a team help the transition from high school into college?
Being on a team helped me transition from high school to college because I automatically had a niche. I instantly had a group of friends with a lot of the same interests as me. One of my teammates actually went to Stone Ridge, the Sacred Heart school in Maryland.

What is your fondest memory from your athletic career at Sacred Heart?
Beating GA, of course!

What do you enjoy most about Bucknell?
Aside from tennis, Bucknell is a great place to go to school because the campus is alive. There is always something going on because most people stay on campus all the time. Also, the classes that I have taken have been really interesting and the professors are very good.

What are your plans for after college?
I'm not quite sure yet. I think I want to do something business related.

Who would win in a fight, Bucknell's mascot or the Sacred Heart Tiger?
That is a tough one, but seeing as our mascot is a Bison the Tiger might have a slight advantage.
