Where young women become global leaders

Graduate's art work on display at Bruce Museum

The charcoal drawing of Kate Gerstner ’17 has been selected for the Bruce Museum’s iCreate 2017 youth exhibition, which will be on display from June 17 through July 30 in the museum’s Bantle Lecture Gallery.

Kate’s drawing, entitled “Fish,” was selected for the exhibition from the judging of more than 700 submissions.

Marking its eighth consecutive year, the iCreate 2017 exhibition presents over 40 fine art works carefully selected this year from more than 700 submissions from teens throughout New York and Connecticut.  The goal of iCreate is not only to spotlight the diverse artwork, but also to provide young artists a venue to build confidence and gain recognition in the community.
