Greenwich Time: Greenwich resident Zoe Kassapidis wins Haggarty Award at Greenwich Town Competition

As a figure skater, that’s what Greenwich resident Zoe Kassapidis strives to be each time she competes and judging by her impressive results, she’s accomplishing her goal.
Showcasing her elegance and grace on the ice, Kassapidis, a Sacred Heart Greenwich junior, won the Kaye Haggarty Award for the third straight year at the 2019 Greenwich Town Competition.
A US Figure Skating sanctioned event, the Greenwich Town Competition was held at Dorothy Hamill Skating Rink in Greenwich on Feb. 24 and sponsored by the Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department and Windy Hill Skating Club. The event was open to skaters in good standing of US Figure Skating and featured numerous skating divisions.

Kassapidis, who competed in the excel pre-preliminary division, earned The Haggarty Award again with another fine performance to her music.
