Filmmakers win top awards in New England film festival

Six Sacred Heart Greenwich students won top honors at the 12thannual Williston Northampton School Film Festival on May 9. This festival showcases the work of student filmmakers from Williston and high schools across New England. 
Of note is that two of the winners are first-year students in Sacred Heart’s filmmaking program. Isabella Stewart ’22 won Best Picture for her short film, “Figment.” Elisa Taylor ’22 won Most Creative film for her animated short, “Special Day”
Sophia Georgas ’20 won Best Public Service Announcement for “Deadzones.” Roxanne Kassapidis ’19 and Lorraine Rinaldi ’19 won Best Screenplay for “Just Relax.” Daniella Tocco '20 won Best Documentary for "The Gatekeeper."
