Student Focus: Charlotte ‘18

Charlotte has been a member of Broadcast Journalism for all four years of Upper School. She has served as both an anchor and Executive Producer of "Today from the Heart." In addition to her work in the classroom, Charlotte has taken on video projects outside of school including an interview with Congressman Jim Himes and a collaboration with a local philanthropic organization, "Pitch Your Peers."
"To me, being a young woman in the media field is an opportunity to create change. Acknowledging that our generation is media-oriented, I know that gaining skills in film and media puts me at an advantage, giving me a voice that many young women do not yet have. I hope to take advantage of this public platform, using my voice to speak about the issues that matter and fight for young women everywhere to be heard and taken seriously."
