The Upper School academic program provides students with a strong, broad-based college preparatory curriculum while also providing opportunities to explore special talents and interests. Two signature programs in the Upper School are Senior Seminar and Science Research.
The Seminar in Literature and Thought, also known as Senior Seminar, is an interdisciplinary course that explores philosophy, literature, theology, science, psychology and more. In the three year Science Research Program, students conduct advanced scientific research and scholarship as part of their academic experience. Students work alongside researchers in labs at major universities, teaching hospitals and environmental centers before going on to present findings in national competitions and submit them for professional journal publications. Learn more about each program in the videos below.
